Pitcher & Catcher Camp

Location:  Vista Murrieta High School.

SKILLS:   All skills are broken down and instructed on with detail and focus using a whole part approach to teaching. Each drill has a purpose that will become a positive habit,  which will lead into a positive action for that skill.  Players will be put through several fundamental drills and exercises to help improve their skills.  Pitchers and Catchers will have Bull Pen sessions as well other related drills/activities.  Our camps are skill level and age appropriate and we work towards instructing and challenging each player to his ability.     

* The Pitching portion of the camp will focus on delivery mechanics, proper pitch grips and drills to improve arm strength and control.  Each pitcher will have instant feedback and analysis from the coach.  Arm care, bullpen practice and warm-up routines will be covered. 

* The catching portion of the camp will focus on teaching, instruction and drills in areas of receiving, blocking, footwork and throwing.  Each catcher will receive instruction in the specialty areas of tag plays, passed balls, pick-offs and pop ups.

Equipment to Bring:  Baseball attire, glove, catcher gear, cleats

Cancellation Policy:  If you need to cancel your registration due to any emergency, please send an email to strikezone24@outlook.com or call (951) 377-3000, this will ensure good status for future events and will help plan and adjust the groupings and rotations for the camp.  Cancelling outside the 8 days before the event will ensure you receive a refund.   A cancellation within the 7 days prior to the date of the event is Non-Refundable.  We ask that you please consider the planning that takes place and consider our low coach to player ratio.  Our coaches make a big commitment, and we kindly ask the same from those on the registration list.
